Capturing the Moments That Define the Game

Sport is built on determination, movement, competition, and emotion. The most powerful photographs are often captured in a fraction of a second — a decisive goal, a critical challenge, a moment of celebration, or an athlete's reaction when everything is on the line.

Sports photography is where my photographic journey began, and it remains one of the most important areas of my professional work.

Based in Paphos, Cyprus, I provide sports photography for professional clubs, sporting organisations, youth academies, athletes, and competitive events.

My primary experience is in football, where understanding the game allows me to anticipate action and capture the moments that matter.

Professional Football Photography

Photographing football requires anticipation, positioning, technical precision, and an understanding of how the match develops.

My experience includes photography coverage of professional domestic competitions, international football, European club competitions, and youth academy matches.

I have photographed matches involving Pafos FC, Akritas Chlorakas FC, the Cyprus national football team, and Pafos FC Ladies K18.

My portfolio also includes UEFA Champions League and other European competition fixtures, providing experience in demanding professional sporting environments.

Experience Beyond the Touchline

Through my involvement in football photography, I have developed a strong appreciation for the preparation, concentration, and discipline required to document competitive sport.

I work with professional Canon camera bodies and telephoto lenses suited to fast-moving action, allowing me to photograph athletes from a distance while maintaining image quality.

My approach combines knowledge of the sport with technical preparation and careful timing.

I aim to create photographs that go beyond recording the score, capturing the individual performances, emotion, and atmosphere that define every competition.
