My journey into photography began approximately 5 years ago, inspired by my family and a desire to preserve the moments that matter most.

It started on the football pitch, photographing my daughter Maria as she played the sport she loves. At the same time, photography became a meaningful way to document our family life and the experiences of my disabled son, Gabriel.

What began as a personal interest gradually developed into a serious creative pursuit, combining my love of photography with an increasing appreciation for the technical and artistic aspects of the profession.

Today, photography is an important part of my professional life.

Alongside my work as a web designer and developer since 2012, I have developed Photo Paphos into a photography business serving private clients, organisations, event organisers, and businesses throughout Cyprus.

My background in digital design also influences my photography. I pay particular attention to composition, visual balance, lighting, and how images communicate a message.

For me, every assignment is an opportunity to create something meaningful, whether that means telling the story of an international corporate gathering or capturing a quiet, personal moment.

Football has played an important role in my development as a photographer, offering opportunities to work in fast-moving environments where timing, anticipation, and technical accuracy are essential.

For several seasons, I have photographed Akritas Chlorakas FC, documenting the players, matches, and moments that define the team's journey.

I have also had the opportunity to photograph Pafos FC, including European competition fixtures, UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches, and Cyprus national team football.

These experiences have strengthened my ability to work in demanding environments, identify decisive moments, and deliver images that communicate the emotion and intensity of professional sport.

Beyond senior football, I continue to photograph youth football, including Pafos FC Ladies K18, supporting the visibility and recognition of young athletes.

My sports photography work can also be viewed through platforms including Icon Sport and Getty Images.

I believe that strong photography starts with understanding the subject, the environment, and the story being told.

Rather than relying on excessive editing or artificial effects, I aim to preserve the authentic character of each moment.

My editing approach focuses on accurate colour, balanced exposure, thoughtful contrast, and natural-looking results.

Whether photographing an event, a concert, a sporting competition, or a private portrait session, I adapt my approach to the situation while maintaining a consistent standard of quality.

I value preparation, professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication. Every photography assignment receives individual attention, from the initial discussion to the selection and editing of the final images.

The result is photography that feels genuine, looks professional, and remains relevant long after the moment has passed.

The right equipment makes a difference, particularly when working in challenging lighting conditions, fast-moving situations, and locations where flexibility is essential.

I primarily work with Canon mirrorless cameras and professional lenses, selecting the most appropriate equipment for each assignment.

My equipment allows me to work across a wide range of environments, from conference venues and concert stages to outdoor sports facilities and private photography locations.

Photo Paphos is based in Paphos, Cyprus, providing photography services for individuals, companies, event organisers, performers, and sporting organisations.

While Paphos is my primary location, I am also available for assignments in Limassol and other areas across Cyprus.

Every assignment is different, and I believe that understanding the purpose of the photographs is just as important as taking them.

Whether the images are intended for personal memories, a corporate communications campaign, editorial publication, social media, or promotional materials, I work to produce photographs that are both visually compelling and appropriate for their intended use.
